Social Worker

Who we’re looking for

BC Community Alliance (BCCA) is looking for a Social Worker to support our dynamic team. The Social Worker will provide direct support to families and students facing discrimination, ensuring access to mental health services, advocacy resources, and intervention support.

What you’ll do

  • Offer one-on-one consultations for families using Safe School Hub
  • Develop a referral network for counseling, trauma support, and advocacy groups
  • Provide mental health resources and workshops for students affected by racism
  • Coordinate with school administrators to ensure fair case resolutions

Legal Advisor

Who we’re looking for

BC Community Alliance (BCCA) is looking for a Legal Advisor to support our dynamic team. The Legal Advisor will provide guidance on education law, discrimination cases, and policy compliance. This role will ensure legal protections for students and families impacted by racism.

What you’ll do

  • Provide legal advice on school discrimination cases submitted through Safe School Hub
  • Develop legal webinars, guides & templates for parents and students on the Safe School Hub
  • Support policy advocacy efforts to mandate Safe School Hub use in school boards
  • Ensure data privacy & compliance with national and provincial laws
  • Other duties as assigned

Partnership & Booking Associate (Student Lead – Sales & Outreach)

The BCCA Venture Hub operates as a shared professional facility, offering media and kitchen space to community partners. Revenue from bookings helps sustain the Hub and subsidize free access for youth entrepreneurs.

We are seeking an outgoing and organized Partnership & Booking Associate to help build and manage our booking pipeline. This role is ideal for a student interested in sales, partnerships, or community-based business development.

        Who We’re Looking For

        We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Venture Hub Coordinator to help run day-to-day operations of our Venture Hub. This is a student leadership role ideal for someone who enjoys logistics, systems, and maintaining professional standards in a shared space. You will act as a “floor manager,” ensuring the Hub is always client-ready, audit-ready, and compliant with safety and asset protocols.
