Empowering Black Futures

Support for Student Learning Program

Empowering Black Futures. Building Community-Led Ventures.

Our Journey

Launched as a pilot in 2022, SSLP has grown into a provincial movement. Through a strategic partnership with the NBA Foundation in 2023, we’ve delivered 4 successful cohorts across 2024–2025 and supported 90+ Black youth through a mix of in-person, virtual, and hybrid programming.

SSLP now lives both on the ground and online, offering live accelerator tracks and webinars on demand to expand access to all corners of the province.
