Target Audience

Who Should Apply

We are seeking dynamic youth-led groups, passionate educators, and dedicated community networks to join us in our mission to create safer, more inclusive schools. Ideal applicants include student councils, grassroots collectives, and organizations focused on equity and justice. Whether you’re a teacher championing diversity or a nonprofit uplifting Black voices, your involvement can drive meaningful change. We encourage applications from those committed to advocacy, education, and community empowerment.

Application Timeline

Our application process is designed to be accessible and ongoing.

We review submissions on a rolling basis, ensuring timely feedback and support.

Activities funded through our program must be completed by October 2025, allowing ample time for planning and execution and our Community Gala on November 16th, 2025.

Selected partners will benefit from onboarding sessions and continuous support from the BCCA Advisory team, ensuring a successful collaboration.

Step Two

Application Submitted

Once you have reviewed your application and you’re comfortable with it. Click on the submit button so our team can review it and get back to you. We usually require up to four weeks before we return a decision.

With increased funding, we expanded our reach, offering microgrants and sponsorships to a broader range of applicants, enhancing our impact across British Columbia.

Feedback and Decision

Whilst we aim to approve the best idea and impact, we want to provide feedback to any application that we deny to encourage repeat applications that fall in line with our commitment to support next-gen leaders

Application Process

Applying to collaborate with the BC Community Alliance is straightforward.

Interested groups should complete our brief application form or send an email to info@bccommunityalliance.com with the subject line “Safe School Hub Collaboration Proposal.

Please include your group’s name and contact information, a concise plan detailing how you intend to promote or utilize the Safe School Hub, and a proposed budget if requesting microgrant funds.

Additionally, feel free to share any relevant materials, such as social media links, videos, or examples of past work, to strengthen your application.

Together, we can drive change and support Black youth in our communities.
