What happens when Black youth, parents, and educators take safety into their own hands?
You get the Safe School Hub, a bold new platform built in the community to report, track, and respond to school-based harm, rooted in advocacy and powered by data.
This 45β60 minute session brings together the powerful voices behind this movement to unpack the real-life impact of policy, data, and tech on the lives of Black students in BC.

- π A conversation on how youth-led data and storytelling are shifting the culture inside BCβs schools
- π€ An audience engagement segment where attendees share what change looks like in their own school communities

BC Community Alliance is a Black-led nonprofit advancing racial equity in education, justice, and community safety. Their leadership has catalysed groundbreaking work in BC β from legislative change to student-led organising.
Safe School Hub Inc., co-founded by BCCAβs Staff Director Brian Seremba, is the newest infrastructure partner committed to empowering families with tools to track harm, access resources, and hold systems accountable β all through a mobile-first platform.
Together, they are building a new kind of civic infrastructure: ethical, inclusive, and owned by the community.
